The SR-32JIII Type B is a further upgrade to our existing SR-32J, offering a range of benefits including improved rigidity, enhanced swarf clearance, upgraded ergonomics, Step Cycle Pro chip-breaking technology and the inclusion of a sub-spindle flush pump as standard.

Apart from the added benefits that we can re-claim the cutting oil.  The biggest benefit is that the washing solution in our washing plant becomes less contaminated.  This has helped prolong the use of our detergent and eliminates the weekly change of solution.  Calculations predicate that this investment will provide annual savings of 8% on our energy usage and eliminate 2T of CO2e.

June has seen an exciting growth for our facilities with our new Addition bending machine, purchased to manufacture precision components for a long-term client in the automotive industry. A cutting-edge, special purpose machine, built to Addition’s exacting standards of robustness and accuracy, the machine is able to bend parts twice as fast as previous machines in our facility.

We took the decision to invest in Addition due to their reputation for exceptional customer service and industry knowledge, as well as the accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use of their machines.

We are greatly looking forward to the new capacity and production volume our improved facilities will allow us to offer our clients.

Specialising in Wickman machines, Darren has a wealth of experience in maintaining, setting and operating Wickman machinery. With over 25 years working in the industry with the majority in a hands-on manufacturing environment, Darren brings a valuable skill set to the team with years of accumulated knowledge.

After joining MaS Precision for a new challenge, Darren will be sharing his knowledge with upcoming apprentices to protect the skill set of operating Wickman machinery – a rarity which is becoming of the industry. We are aiming to begin training in September and will be seeking the assistance of North Warwickshire colleges in finding enthusiastic apprentices who are eager to learn, while Darren offers on-the-job assistance and on-site training in our dedicated training room.

With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and reducing waste, MaS Precision has introduced a new initiative to eliminate waste packaging.

Previously, completed parts were delivered in cardboard boxes with a polythene protective liner. We are now trialling reusable plastic packaging which is returned to us after a delivery is received at a customers’ site. This removes 100% of waste which would previously go to landfill whilst also reducing costs associated with purchasing new packaging supplies.

In an exciting new venture for MaS Precision, we have secured an overseas automotive customer who enlisted our services to create transmission components for electric vehicles. After a recommendation of MaS Precision by a current customer, the contract was agreed upon for a period of 3-7 years.

Our high quality and versatile facilities, including industry-leading Star GB and Wickman machines, will be utilised to meet the production demand while maintaining the distinctive attention to detail and precision our customers rely on us for. At MaS Precision we are excited to be continuing our growth into the international market, with our customers recognising our commitment to minimising machining times and increasing production capacity while still retaining a high level of accuracy.

We are also delighted that through our investment programmes, MaS Precision is able to compete on a global scale to maintain the UK’s position as a leading source of manufacturing.
